Profile

I have had a Commercial Litigation Practice for 30 years and have been a Partner of Allens since 2000. I have done a wide range of general commercial work, including class actions, professional negligence claims, complex commercial disputes and product liability matters. 

I was responsible for leading the team which defended Aristocrat in the shareholder class action brought against it. This was the first case of its type to proceed to trial in Australia.  More recently I have been involved in a range of class actions concerning bank fees, managed investment schemes and FX.  

I am the Chairman of Law Firms Australia, the organisation which represents the major national firms. I am also a director of the Law Council of Australia.
