About Nita

I am currently engaged in consulting work in the area of Family Law with Australian Family Lawyers. Previous to this I operated my own Family Law practice in Brisbane for many years. 

My area of expertise is in all aspects of Family Law including parenting matters and complex property matters. I have practised Family Law for 37 years. I have been an accredited Family Law Specialist since 1996 and a Registered FDR Practitioner since 2009. I have acted for numerous clients in the Family Courts as well as in dispute resolution processes and in the past also acted as Independent Children’s Lawyer.

I am a member of the Qld Law Society, a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Qld, a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and a member of AIFLAM. In previous years I have held the position of President of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Qld and for 6 years was a board member of the Specialist Accreditation Board of the Qld Law Society.
