Profile
I am the former Chief Justice of Western Australia having recently retired in 2018.
As Chief Justice of Western Australia, I managed the Court’s arbitration list for 7 years, and published many decisions in that field at first instance and appellate level. Prior to my appointment as Chief Justice I was regularly briefed to appear as counsel in domestic and international arbitrations.
In 2012 I was also appointed a Companion in the General Division of the Order of Australia for eminent service to the judiciary and to the law, particularly as Chief Justice of Western Australia, to legal reform and education, and to the community.
Personal Comment
I am very pleased to be able to provide mediation and arbitration services as an alternative to litigation, using the latest technology.
