About Stuart

I am a partner at DBH Family Lawyers where I specialise in family law litigation and mediation, primarily in complex financial cases and international family law disputes.

For the past 30 years, I have helped people to resolve their family law problems, as a lawyer and as a mediator. I take great pride in guiding people through one of the most difficult times of their lives and leaving them more confident about their future. I have successfully conducted hundreds of mediations as an NMAS accredited mediator and accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.
In addition to my qualifications in law, I hold an MBA with dual majors in international business management and human resource management. In the course of my career, I have lectured in business law and served on the board of Relationships Australia (NT). I am a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the current Chair of the Australia Japan Business Council of South Australia. In 2017, I was awarded a Churchill Fellowship, which enabled me to study cross-cultural family dispute resolution internationally. I am also a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers.
