Appointed as a Queen’s Counsel in 2020, Simon is an experienced commercial litigator currently practicing at Bankside Chambers.
Simon has worked as a litigator in both New Zealand and London. Upon returning to New Zealand, Simon worked as a Crown Prosecutor before establishing his own practice. His extensive experience includes complex construction and engineering disputes, shareholder disputes and international arbitration.
Simon is a member of Bankside’s Singapore Chambers and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and AMINZ. Simon holds a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration (DipICArb, UK) and is currently a PhD Candidate at Victoria University of Wellington.
Simon obtained his LLB(Hons) from the University of Canterbury in 1992.
