I am a Partner at Dentons (since 2005) and have also been the Global Real Estate Leader in Australia at the firm since 2016. I have specialised in Real Estate Law for the last 22 years. Prior to commencing at Dentons I spent 7 years at Herbert Smith Freehills. More specifically within the Real Estate Law umbrella, I focus on leasing, developments, joint ventures, sales and acquisitions, strata and collective sales and distressed asset sales.
My major clients range from institutional investors, banks, property trusts and developers of varying sizes. Examples of projects I have been involved with include acting for Mirvac on the development and pre-leasing for the heritage Tramsheds Food Precinct, Glebe and for Brookfield, AMP and GPT on the development of the Darling Park retail space. I was also a founding member of the Dentons Diversity Council and headed up and formulated the cultural diversity policy and committee at the firm for 5 years.
Dentons is a member of the Property Council of Australia and UDIA. I am the Dentons contact person for those Associations.
I joined Immediation’s panel because I would like to see increased efficiencies and greater cost certainty for clients in the legal industry. I believe Immediation can achieve this.
