About Renée 

I am the Principal Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and Child Consultant at Choice Mediations. I offer both Family Dispute Resolution as well as Child Inclusive Practice, whereby the child’s voice is directly heard and considered in the mediation process. I am also a Family Group Conference Facilitator and am qualified in this specialised form of mediation, specifically for childcare and protection matters. I supervise other Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners and support many graduates to obtain their registration and pursue this rewarding work. I work with a diverse range of families in the post separation and child protection context.

After practicing in the fields of child protection law and family law, I wanted to assist my clients in a more meaningful manner. Rather than having decisions imposed upon them, I wanted to assist families affected by separation and child protection issues to have a voice in the agreements reached. As a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Family Group Conference Facilitator and Child Consultant, I am able to draw on this unique and complementary skill set to the benefit of many families and their children. 

I am a professional member of the Resolution Institute, The Australian Mediation Association and the Australian Institute of Family Law Mediators and Arbitrators.
