Profile
I am a barrister practising in the fields of Commissions & Enquiries (including Inquests), disciplinary and general regulatory law, and mediation and arbitration. I am the author of the book ‘Law of International Business in Australia’ and of numerous articles on commercial law, finance law, foreign investment law, environmental law and criminal law.
I am a Fellow of the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia, a Councillor at the State Library of NSW, and a Trustee of Sydney Grammar School. I have a Masters degree in international trade law. I have been honoured as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) and as an Italian Cavaliere.
I served as a Crown Prosecutor for 35 years, 20 of them as Senior Crown Prosecutor – the leader of the State’s Crown Prosecutors. Between 1990 and 2018 I prosecuted many of the most complex and high-profile criminal trials in New South Wales.
Personal Comment
I believe that online mediation and arbitration is the way of the future, and I am pleased to be part of it.
