About Louise

I am a non-court-based dispute resolution specialist in Family Law (mediator, FDRP, collaborative coach and arbitrator) and a Barrister and mediator in medical negligence, public liability and institutional abuse cases (and mediate all personal injury). I combine expected legal technicality with human soft skills, including social and emotional intelligence (SEIQ).

I am a Barrister, Mediator, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Collaborative Coach, Arbitrator and Social and Emotional Intelligence Coach.

In litigation, I specialise in medical negligence, institutional abuse matters and mediation in personal injury.

In family law, I am a non court dispute resolution specialist.

I have practiced extensively in NSW in large, million dollar cases in medical negligence and institutional abuse cases. I have represented many clients at mediation in common law matters, thereby providing me with a deep understanding of parties needs at mediation.

I have been a litigator in family law until recently, when I decided to pursue my passion of assisting clients resolve disputes through non court dispute resolution methods, as the best way to achieve the best results and long term outcomes.

Personal Comment

What I love most about my role is my ability to assist people resolve their own disputes, using a cost effective, emotionally positive, quick and confidential process. I combine my legal and mediation technical skills with human "soft" skill (Social and Emotional Intelligence). This ensures the legalities and the clients needs and desires are considered and met throughout the process.
