I have 27 years' in insurance law, now coming  up to my 20th year being a Partner. I founded Gilchrist Connell's Perth  office in 2011. My main practice areas are professional indemnity, directors’  and officers' insurance, public liability, alternative dispute resolution and  recoveries.

I handle disputes of many shapes and sizes,  including those involving professionals and business people where things have  taken an unexpected turn.

I was awarded the Lawyers Weekly Partner of  the Year - Insurance in 2017 (for Australia) and the Best Lawyers Lawyer of  the Year 2020 in Perth for the Professional Malpractice field (ie  professional indemnity).

Personal Comment

I love the part of dispute resolution where  parties are able to accept an outcome and move on with their lives.  It is a privilege to serve parties by  enabling this to happen.
