Hailing from Canada, David emigrated to New Zealand in 1989. David became a Barrister in 2003 and was appointed as a Queen’s Counsel in 2016. Currently residing in Auckland’s Shortland Chambers, David is a specialist in general civil and commercial litigation.
David’s extensive experience covers areas such as real estate and property, building and construction, unit titles, trusts and governance. David has worked across a broad range of commercial, institutional and private clients matters involving advisory and advocacy services.
David obtained his LLB and BCL from McGill University, and has a BA from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. He is a member of Auckland District Law Society’s Property Disputes Sub-Committee.
