Profile 

I am a Partner in the dispute resolution and litigation team at Dentons. Throughout my professional career I have acted in complex and sensitive commercial disputes for both government and private sector clients, including class actions, financial services representative proceedings, financial products and technology procurement disputes. I also lead the Australia region White Collar & Government Investigations team, acting for clients in all areas of organisational risk including fraud, bribery and corruption, data privacy and corporate wrongdoing.

My key industry knowledge includes real estate, commercial leasing and property development, government, financial services, transportation, IT and large-scale integrated software systems and health care. Most recently, I have acted for a property developer in Supreme Court of NSW proceedings in relation to their rights as vendor to rescind a contract for the sale of a commercial development in Western Sydney. I have also acted for a global provider of orthopaedic devices used for rehabilitation, pain management and physical therapy in relation to a contract dispute with the organization’s logistics delivery provider.

I joined Immediation’s Panel because I am passionate about alternative dispute resolution and helping to find commercial and practical outcomes to the dispute process without the need for court proceedings.

Personal Comment

I personally find the mediation process to be a fundamental part of the dispute resolution process, which at best provides a practical and commercial result for clients and, at worst, helps the parties to narrow the issues in dispute.
